Battery life lasts less a day.

Battery life is not good. Because it Has to be charged every day, I am unable to get the info about the my sleeping quality. Charge 3 battery life is 7 days or so, 5 less than a day with the nattery saving mode on. I chose Fitbit because its battery life, now I may have to return it.

Black screen

For the 3 days it worked, I enjoyed it. I was upgrading from a Charge 3, so there were some nice features I would have enjoyed. Day 3, screen went black. After chatting with Fitbit, they said someone would get back to me. That's been a week and a half ago.

Great Activity Tracker, Comfortable Fit, HORRIBLE screen.

Screen Has Poor Response. At first it is bearable. Once it becomes part of your life, You will spend half your interactions trying to get the screen to respond. That is a major and singular negative.

Go with the Charge 4

The charging station is trash. I have to mess with it several times to get it to stay connected. I have to tap the screen several times to get it to light up. I have to manually sync it to my phone. After two months, it doesn’t hold a charge for more than a few hours. The charge 4 was significantly better. The changes they’ve made were all for the worse.

Fitbit is fine, but the strap caused a rash.

I was pretty pleased with the Charge 5 as a tracker of steps and sleep, which were my primary reasons for getting it. After about 3 months of using it, I got a rash where ai had contact with the strap. I stopped wearing it for a couple of weeks while it healed and dry skin pulled away. After it healed, I wore it one day, and i.y skin was all red under the strap again. I do keep it clean and dry. Google searches suggest to me that the straps frequently cause rashes.

Does not last!!

Bought this Charge 5 when it came out, but after just a little over 1 year, it stopped working!! I contacted Fitbit, but they won’t stand behind the product beyond that 1 year warranty, so I’m left with paying to buy another Charge 5, or buy something else. I would have expected it to last at least until the next model (Charge 6?) came out, but it didn’t make it. Buyer beware - the Fitbit may “appear” less expensive, but factor in the fact that it does not last and you may be shelling out to replace it shortly after a year!

Only lasted 6 months

Bought Nov of 2022 and in May of 2023 the battery went. Very disappointing. I should have heeded the reviews.

Find a dufferent tracker

“Find my phone” is useless! Sensitivity of screens is unpredictable. Sometimes you have to tap hard, sometimes soft., sometimes doesn’t respond at all. I understand it’s a stripped down tracker but the little it offers is not reliable at all.

Junk

This product only lasted me 4 months. This is the second time I have brought this product, and it won't change. I do not believe it is waterproof for cardio. I like the tracking part of the app, but not the watch. I wouldn't recommend this product. It is a waste of money.

Firmware update baaaad

It worked great for the first year or so, but it's been bugging out for the past month. There no good way to reset it with the charger like the older models. No matter what i do lately I can't get it to consistently display the time even after adjusting the screen wake settings on the watch. No success in tweaking it through the app. I have bought multiple charger cables for it thinking they had something to do with my problems; but I've been through like 5 cables and frankly i'm done. I've been a fitbit user for almost 10 years, and I'm throwing in the towel after this. Gonna get a Garmin.
